KSE representatives attended the international conference

On November 16, 2022 representatives of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange attended the KSE international conference "ESG - New Paradigm of Financial Market Development" within the framework of the 10th Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan.

The main purpose of the event was to organize an expert discussion on the promotion of sustainable development goals in the financial sector, exchange experiences and opinions of experts and the business community. The conference discussed the current tools and indicators of sustainable business development, the advantages and peculiarities of attracting "green" financing and the practice of responsible investing.

Medet Nazaraliyev, President of KSE, spoke about the Exchange's ESG work in 2022, as well as development of the sustainable development section, promotion of sustainable financing tools and disclosure of ESG reports.

The agenda of the event also included global trends in sustainable development project financing, regulatory development, corporate ESG strategies and business transformation, best practices in ESG information disclosure and ESG risk assessment.
