The purpose of the event is to inform businessmen about the possibilities of attracting investments on the stock market and to tell them about a financial instrument - corporate bonds.
"One of the priority tasks of the state economic policy of Kyrgyzstan is the development of the stock market. Presently, many companies and the population of the country are poorly informed about the opportunities of the stock market, while in neighbouring countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan) the main investors in the stock market are ordinary citizens, which serves as the main investor base for companies to enter the stock market" - said Medet Nazaraliev, President of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.

"RKDF has been an anchor investor in the stock market and a partner of KSE since 2023. So, RKDF is ready to buy up to 15 per cent of the company's bonds, which is an stimulus for domestic businesses to attract investment through the issue of corporate bonds. I am sure that other development funds in Kyrgyzstan will follow RKDF's example of supporting the development of the stock market," said Oleg Kudyakov, Deputy Chairman of RKDF.
Meerim Askarbekova, Head of Senti Financial Company, spoke about successful cases. According to her, every year the business interest in financial instruments of the stock market is growing. Bonds, with a term of 1 to 3 years, are one of the attractive instruments, during which time the emitter can use the proceeds to pay coupon income to its investors.
Today the participants were provided with information on the KSE listing procedure, its requirements and categories, sustainable financing instruments: green bonds, social bonds and climate bonds. These types of securities are supported by international donor organisations as they address socio-environmental issues. The KSE Guidelines for ESG reporting and publication were also presented.
The working meeting was organised in the format of active discussion. The participants of the meeting had an opportunity to ask questions regarding the required documents for bond issue, capital amount, interest rates and information disclosure.
