Ring the Bell for Gender Equality-2024

On the 4th of March 2024, the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KSE) together with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and UN Women in Kyrgyzstan (UN Women) will hold the annual "Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2024", which is timed to coincide with International Women's Day and is a global initiative to promote gender equality to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as highlight the importance of gender equality for economic development and growth.

It should be noted that the KSE is holding the opening ceremony in Kyrgyzstan for the 4th time already within the framework of the UN initiative "Sustainable Stock Exchanges" (Sustainable Stock Exchanges).  In 2023, 123 exchanges from 117 countries took part in Ring the Bell for Gender Equality events. Traditionally, the ceremony sets the tone for the discussion, which this year is "Investing in Women: Accelerating Economic Progress in the Kyrgyz Republic".
